Today we discover Boston, steeped in America’s colonial history and one of the focal cities of the American Revolution. We join an 18th-century costumed guide on a tour exploring the historic sites on the Freedom Trail and learning about the important events that shaped the city and our country. Visit the Granary Burying Ground, where some of America’s most notable citizens rest, including Paul Revere and Samuel Adams; and see the Old North Church, where signal lanterns ignited the American Revolution. Enjoy lunch on your own and time to explore Quincy Market, a National Historic Landmark. This afternoon we visit the Boston Tea Party Museum. History comes alive as we enjoy presentations from costumed actors, engaging interactive exhibits and authentically restored tea ships. This evening we enjoy a special Holiday Vacations Welcome Dinner. B,D
