Later, we ascend to the Castle in the Clouds, a stunning stone house built by millionaire shoemaker Thomas Plant in 1914. Next we travel one of New England's most scenic byways, traversing a picturesque wonderland of untouched wilderness. B,L

Day 5 : Woodstock, Vermont

Often called "the prettiest little town in America," it was settled in 1768 and still exudes the charms of yesteryear. Browse the shops, admire the stately homes and perhaps stroll across its beloved covered bridge. Later, we visit the Bennington Pottery to learn about their ‘hands-on’ approach to the pottery-making process.
