Day 1 : Fly to Honolulu
Welcome to Hawaii! We receive the warmest of welcomes with a traditional flower lei greeting. Then, we check-in to the beautiful Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa for four nights. Each room features a private balcony.
Day 2 : Pearl Harbor
Begin the day with breakfast at our resort hotel’s Kuhio Beach Grill. We pay our respects at Pearl Harbor. A Navy launch takes us to the USS Arizona Memorial which spans the sunken battleship. E Komo Mai (welcome) new friends over a Mai Tai during an included lunch at Gordon Biersch Brewery. Situated on the Honolulu Harbor waterfront we can enjoy views of passing ships while we dine. Tour Honolulu with views of the State Capitol and Iolani Palace, the only palace in the U.S. once inhabited by a reigning monarch. The tour continues with a drive through the Punchbowl, an extinct volcano and home to the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. B,L
Day 3 : Polynesian Cultural Center
Enjoy a scenic drive of Oahu’s North Shore. We’ll have time to stop at the Dole Pineapple Visitors Center. Visit the Polynesian Cultural Center, a festive recreation of Polynesian villages. Learn about the lifestyles, traditions and crafts of six different island cultures as you stroll the tropical grounds. L
Day 4 : Oahu
Follow your own desires today. Perhaps return to see more of Iolani Palace or explore Diamond Head. Dinner tonight is at the Kuhio Beach Grill. D
Day 5 : Volcanoes National Park
Fly to Hilo on Hawaii’s Big Island this morning. Enjoy a gourmet lunch at the Kilauea Lodge located just outside of Volcanoes National Park. Visit Volcanoes National Park, stopping along the way at dramatic overlooks and visitor centers. The unique landscape of the park features volcanic craters, dried lava flows and steam vents. We enjoy the next two nights at the lovely Sheraton Kona Resort & Spa, this property is perched on black lava rocks at the base of the famous Kona coffee region overlooking the Pacific. L
Day 6 : The Big Island
Explore on your own today. Perhaps tour a coffee plantation, visit historic Kailua Village or Kona’s Mokuaikaua, the oldest Christian Church in Hawaii. B
Day 7 : Waimea Canyon
Fly this morning to Kauai, known as the Garden Isle for its lush landscapes. We enjoy lunch at Kilohana Plantation. Visit Kauai Coffee Plantation Visitors Center to sample products. Witness Waimea Canyon, a vast gorge of red rock and emerald green vegetation. Later, we arrive at the Kauai Beach Resort for two nights. Enjoy rooms with private balconies and manicured grounds which evoke a true feel of colonial Hawaii. L
Day 8 : Kauai
During our free day, enjoy an included visit to Smith’s Fern Grotto at your leisure and relax at the hotel. Optional helicopter tours offer views of the island’s lush corners. An included dinner is at our resort tonight. B,D
Day 9 : Maui
This morning we fly to Maui. Savor lunch and a tour of the Maui Ocean Center. We drive to Lahaina, an old whaling port known for its gigantic Banyan tree. Later, we arrive at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa for three nights featuring private balconies and 40 lavish oceanfront acres right on Ka’anapali Beach. L
Day 10 : The “Valley Isle”
Relax on your own today. Return to Lahaina, tee off at a championship golf course, or travel the stunning Road to Hana. Begin the day with a scrumptious breakfast at our resort’s Swan Court. B
Day 11 : Traditional Luau
The morning and afternoon is yours for relaxation, exploration, and adventure. Spend a Hawaiian-style evening at the Drums of the Pacific Luau and Polynesian Show featuring luau specialties. Then celebrate with the music and dances of the South Pacific! D
Day 12 : Aloha Lunch
We celebrate our Hawaiian getaway with our new friends at a Holiday Vacations Farewell Lunch. Visit the Maui Tropical Plantation and join a tram tour though fields of pineapples and many other tropical fruit while we learn about farming in paradise. An overnight flight returns us to the mainland. L
Day 13 : Arrive Home
A Hui Hou (until we meet again).
