Day 1 : Fly to Phoenix
We fly to the desert warmth of Phoenix, Arizona. The area’s ideal Southwest temperatures make it the perfect place for a round of golf or a dip in our hotel’s outdoor pool. Our superb accommodations for the next five nights are at the Embassy Suites Phoenix Scottsdale.
Day 2 : Milwaukee vs. Chicago Southsiders
We begin each day with a delicious breakfast. Depart for Camelback Ranch in Glendale to watch the boys of summer swing for the fences against Chicago (southsiders). Later we enjoy a special Holiday Vacations Welcome Dinner at an excellent local restaurant.
Day 3 : Arizona vs. Milwaukee
After breakfast we join our fellow baseball fans for a guided tour of Phoenix. Phoenix started as a simple farming community in the 1860s and is now the fifth largest city in the United States. Today’s baseball adventure takes us to Milwaukee’s spring training facility, Maryvale Baseball Park in an exciting game versus Arizona. In the evening enjoy time on your own in Old Town Scottsdale, a popular shopping and dining district full of Southwestern culture that evokes images of the Old West.
Day 4 : Milwaukee vs. Oakland
Take a leisurely morning to relax on your hotel balcony and enjoy the surroundings until we’re off to Oakland’s spring training facility, Hohokam Stadium in Mesa. Enjoy Arizona’s warm spring weather as we watch the game.
Day 5 : Chicago Northsiders vs. Milwaukee
We begin our day by visiting the Desert Botanical Garden. Founded over 70 years ago, the gardens provide research and exhibits to showcase the desert’s magnificent beauty. Enjoy all that this incredible facility has to offer and take the time to fully explore the beauty that surrounds us here. We return to Maryvale Stadium for our final baseball game where we watch Milwaukee play against Chicago (northsiders). Tonight we reminisce the on the day’s sports highlights during our Holiday Vacations Farewell Dinner with our new friends.
Day 6 : Fly Home
We return home with memories of our spectacular Arizona vacation.
