Day 1 : Fly to Fort Myers
We fly to the warmth of Fort Myers, Florida. The area’s ideal temperatures make it the perfect place for relaxation and cheering on our favorite baseball team. We check into our comfortable accommodations at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Fort Myers Estero, just a short drive from The Minnesota Twins’ training stadium.
Day 2 : St. Louis at Minnesota Twins
Savor an included breakfast freshly prepared at our hotel each morning.
After breakfast we are off to the Minnesota Twins’ spring training ball field, Hammond Stadium at CenturyLink Sports Complex, to see the Twins battle St. Louis. Recognized as one of Baseball America’s Top-Five spring training facilities, the stadium and its surrounding sports complex are still feeling fresh following major renovations in 2015.
Later, we get to know our fellow traveling companions at a Holiday Vacations Welcome Dinner at our hotel.
Day 3 : Minnesota Twins at Philadelphia
Today we are off to impressive Spectrum Field located in Clearwater, FL where Minnesota takes on Philadelphia.
Upon returning to Fort Myers we will have the afternoon at leisure. Later we will enjoy an included dinner at Cristof's on McGregor, serving a variety of Southern specialties and seafood.
Day 4 : Atlanta at Minnesota Twins
We return to Hammond Stadium where Minnesota Twins take on Atlanta. Relax and enjoy the beautiful weather as we cheer on our favorite team.
Day 5 : Baltimore at Minnesota Twins
Following another scrumptious breakfast, we travel to the Edison and Ford Winter Estates, the adjacent winter homes of famous inventors and businessmen Thomas Edison and Henry Ford. Our guided tour includes historical buildings, gardens, and the Botanic Research Lab across the property’s 20 acres.
Later, we arrive at Jack Hammond Stadium for the last ball game of our Florida getaway. Before the game begins, we gather for an included barbecue picnic Farewell Dinner at the ball park. Afterwards, we cheer on the Minnesota Twins as they take on Baltimore.
Day 6 : Fly Home
Today we return home with wonderful memories of our Minnesota Twins spring training baseball adventure.
