Day 1 : Fly to Honolulu
We are welcomed to Hawaii by the warm tropical breezes of an island paradise! We receive a traditional Hawaiian flower lei greeting before we check in to the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa in Oahu on beautiful Waikiki Beach.
Day 2 : Pearl Harbor
Start the day with a lovely included breakfast. We then enjoy a narrated tour of Hawaii's capital city, Honolulu, with our local driver-guide. We drive through the heart of the city, passing highlights such as Punchbowl Crater, home to the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Iolani Palace where Hawaiian royalty once lived, and the 18-foot bronze statue of King Kamehameha. Taste the flavors of the island during our Holiday Vacations Welcome Lunch. The afternoon brings us to the USS Arizona Memorial & Visitor Center at Pearl Harbor where we remember and contemplate the events of December 7, 1941.
Day 3 : Windward Oahu
This morning, find serenity at the beautiful Ho'omaluhia Botanical Garden before we travel along Oahu’s windward side to visit Kualoa Ranch in Kaneohe for a Hollywood Movie Sites Tour. Discover famed Ka’a’awa Valley, Hollywood’s “Hawaii Backlot” since the 1960s. Explore movie sites and encounter a rare storage space: an old WWII bunker in the side of the mountain that now houses models and props for films!
Day 4 : Oahu at Leisure
Today is yours to enjoy all that Oahu has to offer. Soak up the Hawaiian sunshine on Waikiki Beach, learn more about Hawaii’s rich heritage at Bishop Museum, or watch the sunset from the deck of a catamaran.
Day 5 : Fly to Maui
Begin the day with a pleasant flight to Kahului on the island of Maui, known as The Valley Isle due to its lush landscape draped between rugged mountains. Admire native Hawaiian plants and learn about their importance in island history and culture as you wander through Maui Nui Botanical Gardens. Later we settle in at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa located on Maui’s pristine Ka’anapali Beach.
Day 6 : The Valley Isle
The day is yours to enjoy and explore Maui as you choose. Unwind along the magnificent stretch of shoreline or plan an adventure Hawaiian style! Travel to the summit of Haleakala or deep into the ocean to view colorful coral and fish that call this region home. This evening we celebrate our time on the islands with a traditional Drums of the Pacific Luau and Polynesian Show. Taste exotic flavors and tropical beverages as we enjoy the music and customary dances of the South Pacific at an authentic Hawaiian luau!
Day 7 : Maui Pineapple Plantation
After a restful morning we leave our hotel and enjoy a Holiday Vacations Farewell Lunch with new friends. We conclude our classic Hawaiian getaway with pineapple! Join Maui Pineapple Tours to explore the massive fields on a working plantation. With the Pu’unianiau Volcano in the distance, we learn about production from the tiniest pineapples all the way to the final product! The sweetest fruit of the crop end up at Hali'imaile Distilling Company where we learn more during our tour and tasting. Then we say Aloha to Hawaii and depart for the airport to catch our overnight flight back to the mainland.
Day 8 : Arrive Home
We arrive home with lovely memories from our paradise getaway.
