Day 1 : Fly to New York
We board our pleasant flight to New York City for two nights. Our accommodations are in the Times Square area with a variety of dining and shopping experiences.
Day 2 : New York City
An expert local guide joins us this morning to see the famous landmarks of Manhattan including Central Park, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, Wall Street and Greenwich Village. The afternoon is free for activities of our choosing. Ask your Tour Director for suggestions on where to go and what to see. This evening we enjoy an included dinner followed by Beautiful: The Carole King Musical.
Day 3 : Radio City Music Hall
Go behind-the-scenes on a tour of Radio City Music Hall and get an insider’s view of the most iconic theater in New York, where the biggest names in show business perform! Later, we board the Norwegian Escape for the first evening of our seven-night cruise with fine dining and entertainment.
Day 4 : At Sea
The sparkling Norwegian Escape is the perfect ship to enjoy a day at sea. Take the day to relax or enjoy the many activities on board. All meals are included aboard ship.
Day 5 : Portland
Portland is Maine's largest city. This eclectic coastal city is known for unspoiled landscapes, succulent lobster, and its stately lighthouse. You may choose to explore the Old Port which features a variety of restaurants, shops and galleries.
Day 6 : Bar Harbor
Located on the shores of Mount Desert Island and sitting on the entrance to Acadia National Park is the resort town of Bar Harbor, Maine. The incredible scenery of the region transformed the area into a popular resort for such notables as John D. Rockefeller and Joseph Pulitzer around the turn of the 20th century.
Day 7 : St. John
St. John is the largest city in the Canadian province of New Brunswick and is the oldest incorporated city in the country. The city is situated along the north shore of the Bay of Fundy, famous for the tremendous discrepancy between its high and low tides. St. John's city market is the oldest market in North America, built in 1876.
Day 8 : Halifax
Today the ship docks in Halifax, the capital of Nova Scotia and one of the first English cities in Canada. Its vast harbor extends 16 miles inland. Today we enjoy an included excursion to the picturesque fishing village of Peggy's Cove followed by time to explore Halifax on our own.
Day 9 : At Sea
Enjoy the facilities and amenities of the Norwegian Escape. Relax on deck in comfortable lounges. Revel in the benefits and enjoy the included amenities of our grand sailing vessel. This evening we gather together with fellow travelers for a private reception.
Day 10 : Fly Home
We arrive in New York City early this morning and disembark the ship. After transferring to the airport, we fly home with wonderful memories of our cruise experience.

With degrees in English and Speech from Huntingdon College and Auburn University, Ann became a successful high school English, Speech and Drama teacher.
This background equipped her for a broadcasting career. She is recognized as the longest running talk show hostess in Alabama. As hostess of The Ann Varnum Show and Public Affairs Director for WTVY News 4, she interviewed people from all walks of life. Ann continues to host The Best Years and speak at events for WTVY TV.
She helped start the Girls’ Club in Dothan and the Wiregrass Clearing House, and co-founded Meadowood, a Christ-centered spiritual adventure camp.
Mrs. Varnum is the author of Sunny Side Up and with her sister has coauthored two cookbooks, Field O’ Dreams Farm Cookbook Volumes I and II. Experiencing Spiritual Encouragement is Ann’s latest devotional book and Digging For Treasures in the Dark was released in 2011.
Ann has previously hosted numerous Holiday Vacations tours.
