Day 1 : Fly to Fort Myers
We are welcomed by the inviting warmth of Fort Myers, Florida. The area’s ideal climate makes it the perfect place for relaxation and cheering on our favorite baseball team! We check in to our comfortable accommodations, just a short drive to the Minnesota Twins training stadium.
Day 2 : Boston vs. Minnesota Twins
Savor an included breakfast freshly prepared at our hotel each morning. Today we are off to the Minnesota Twins spring training ballfield, Hammond Stadium at the Lee County Sports Complex, to see the Twins play Boston. Recognized by Baseball America as a top-five spring training facility, the stadium and surrounding complex still feel fresh from its major renovations of 2015. Later, get to know fellow traveling companions at a Holiday Vacations Welcome Dinner.
Day 3 : Minnesota Twins vs. Detroit
We travel to Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium in Lakeland where the Twins take on Detroit. Relax and enjoy the beautiful weather as we cheer on our favorite team. Back at our hotel, we have the afternoon at leisure and dinner on our own.
Day 4 : New York vs. Minnesota Twins
This morning we travel to Naples Botanical Garden, a 170-acre world-class garden paradise of tropical gardens and beautifully restored natural habitats adjacent to the Everglades. This afternoon we are back at Hammond Stadium where Minnesota takes on New York. This evening, enjoy an included dinner at Cristof’s on McGregor, serving a variety of Mediterranean and Southern-inspired specialties and seafood.
Day 5 : Pittsburgh vs. Minnesota Twins
We arrive at Hammond Stadium for the final baseball game of our Florida getaway. After cheering on the Minnesota Twins as they take on Pittsburgh, we gather for an included barbecue picnic Farewell Dinner.
