Day 1 : Fly to Fort Myers
The warm Florida sun welcomes us to Fort Myers. This charming city’s ideal climate makes it the perfect place for relaxation and cheering on our favorite baseball team! Get settled into our nearby Estero accommodations and delight in the convenience of unpacking only once as we stay in the same comfortable hotel for our entire vacation. Tonight, we enjoy complimentary snacks and beverages during our daily evening social reception.
Day 2 : Minnesota at Boston
Each morning of our trip begins with an included made-to-order breakfast freshly prepared at our hotel. Today’s excitement commences with a short drive from our hotel to JetBlue Park at Fenway South, where the Minnesota Twins take on Boston. As the home field for Boston’s spring training games, JetBlue Park blends Florida architectural styles with signature features and traditions from iconic Fenway Park, such as the Green Monster. Later, we get to know our fellow traveling companions over a delicious Welcome Dinner.
Day 3 : Tampa Bay at Minnesota
Take advantage of a relaxing morning or hop on the first motorcoach departure to Hammond Stadium at the Lee County Sports Complex to watch teams practice before the game. En route, we pay a visit to Sun Harvest Citrus where we have time to taste the fresh flavors of tropical fruit juices, cones, and smoothies. Hammond Stadium is the winter home of the Minnesota Twins as well as the Twins Player Development Academy and two Twins minor league affiliates. Recognized by Baseball America as a top-five spring training facility, the stadium and surrounding complex encompass 80 acres altogether. We cheer on our favorite team this afternoon as they play Tampa Bay. Tonight, we embark on a dinner cruise with music and dancing! Glide along the scenic Caloosahatchee River while enjoying a buffet dinner and lively music, plus a relaxing top deck to take in the beautiful sunset, and later, star-filled sky.
Day 4 : Minnesota at Toronto
We board our comfortable motorcoach and drive to the Tampa area this morning, stopping at TD Ballpark in Dunedin, the location of this afternoon’s Twins game and the spring training home for Toronto. Recently renovated in 2020, this stadium is reminiscent of a bygone era in size and appearance while boasting updated bathrooms, concessions, a BBQ tent, and a 360-degree boardwalk around the outfield. We break for dinner at leisure in Tampa before returning to our hotel.
Day 5 : Boston at Minnesota
Today we return to Hammond Stadium for the final baseball game of our Florida getaway. Before cheering on the Minnesota Twins as they take on Boston again, indulge in a classic game-day lunch of savory barbecue and beer! Later this afternoon, we head back to our hotel with the rest of the day free for individual exploration. Take in the city sights, visit historical landmarks, grab a bite of fresh seafood while listening to live music, or shop for souvenirs while soaking up the warm weather one last time.
Day 6 : Fly Home
We return home today with new friends and great memories of watching our favorite baseball team in sunny Florida.
