Experience one of the world’s most fascinating destinations on a dreamy tour of Japan, exploring the waterways of this island country aboard the all-suite Star Breeze ship by Windstar Cruises. Take in old-world Japan with its delicate aesthetic of simplicity and tranquility at various shrines and Buddhist temples in the Zen tradition, the Japanese version of the original Indian religion. Tour cutting-edge Tokyo and visit ports with various UNESCO sites that reveal Japan’s natural beauty. Visit samurai houses, a 400-year-old garden, and Busan, a large South Korean port city known for its beaches and a place to unwind. Contemplate history and humanity in Nagasaki and Hiroshima, both cities rebuilt from 1945 when the U.S. signaled the closure of WWII, still the only country in the world to have used nuclear weapons in combat. These two cities, now rebuilt and modernized, offer many museums and memorials to educate and commemorate. Pamper yourself with Windstar’s onboard World Spa, and all meals are included aboard ship!
