Day 6: Salt Mine & Tyrolean Culture ALL AIRFARE INCLUDED
This morning, we return to Germany and visit the
Berchtesgaden Salt Mines. Dating back to 1517, this
unique attraction takes us over 2,000 feet into the
mountain aboard a mine train! We see a massive salt
cathedral with a miner’s slide, enjoy a fun presentation
on salt mining, and take a boat ride across the
underground lake. This afternoon, our journey continues
to an Austrian family farm in Oberndorf. Indulge in a
taste of locally made cheese, meat, and Schnapps while
marveling at the gorgeous landscape. This evening,
