Day 1 : Scotland Bound
We start our vacation with an overnight flight across the "pond" to Scotland.

Day 2 : Edinburgh
This morning, we arrive in Edinburgh for a city tour featuring the architecture and stories of the Georgian "New Town" and the medieval "Old Town." We're introduced to Edinburgh's ancient pageantry and historic landmarks during a tour of this fascinating city. The afternoon is free before rejoining for a tasty WITN-TV Welcome Dinner at the Radisson Blu Hotel, our accommodations for the next two evenings. D

Day 3 : Holyroodhouse & Edinburgh Castle
Today we visit the Palace of Holyroodhouse. This castle has served as the principle residence of the Kings and Queens of Scotland since the 16th century. The afternoon takes us to famous Edinburgh Castle. We tour this historic fortress and learn about one of the most important strongholds in the country’s history. Tonight we celebrate Scottish traditions at the Prestonfield House. We're treated to exceptional entertainment as kilted waiters serve us a gourmet dinner as we toast with wine. B,D

Day 4 : Distillery & Inverness
We begin our day with a true Scottish treat, a distillery tour and sample of one of Scotland's best-known exports. Enjoy free time in Pitlochry. Later we travel to Culloden Moor, site of the final confrontation of the Jacobite uprising of 1745. At the visitor's center we step back in time to Scottish history and lore. Our accommodations tonight are in Inverness. B,D

Day 5 : The Highlands & Loch Lomond
Enjoy breakfast before we travel the breathtaking Scottish Highlands. Look for magic and mystery as we drive along the infamous Loch Ness. We then make our way to Fort William and Loch Lomond for an awe-inspiring cruise on the island-dotted loch. Travel past soaring mountains, rushing rivers, and dramatic waterfalls before checking into The Village Hotel Club in scenic Glasgow. B

Day 6 : Titanic Museum
The Cairnryan Superferry offers unmatched beauty as we cross the Irish Sea to Belfast. Enjoy Titanic Belfast, a museum commemorating the birthplace of the world's most famous ship. The museum extends over nine interactive galleries. Later we listen to expert local commentary as we tour the highlights of the city. We enjoy city center accommodations in Belfast for the night. B

Day 7 : Giant's Causeway & Derry
We receive our first glimpse of Northern Ireland's majestic coast this morning and discover the beauty of Giant’s Causeway. This UNESCO World Heritage Site and geological wonder offers surreal views. Afternoon takes us to the historic walled city of Derry. We explore the city on a walking tour and hear about its fascinating fortified walls and the four gates that kept the city safe. Dinner and the evening are yours for individual pursuits tonight. Tonight we have accommodations at the Derry City Hotel, located within steps of the town’s main attractions and restaurants. B

Day 8 : Glenveagh Castle & Donegal
Our journey today begins at the Guildhall. Featuring red sandstone, Tudor overtones and stunning stained glass windows, this is a truly distinctive building. Next we tour the award-winning Tower Museum. We continue to Glenveagh National Park. Hollywood stars such as Marilyn Monroe, Clark Gable, and Greta Garbo have vacationed here in the Glenveagh Castle. We enjoy a scenic drive to Donegal and a delectable dinner at the Mill Park Hotel, our accommodations for the evening. B,D

Day 9 : Belleek Pottery
Belleek Pottery is our first destination today. We begin in the visitor's center and then enjoy a guided tour of the pottery. Lunch will be in Enniskillen before visiting Kells - one of the most important Monastic sites in Ireland. Dinner and accommodations are at the Dunboyne Castle Hotel. B,D

Day 10 : Dublin & Book of Kells
Discover Dublin this morning on a guided tour. View Dublin Castle, the Spire of Dublin, St. Patrick's Cathedral, the Guinness Factory and the Ha'penny Bridge. Later we tour Trinity College and the National Museum of Ireland including the legendary Book of Kells. Our Holiday Vacations Farewell Lunch today is at The Brazen Head Pub. Between courses storytellers will provide insights of Irish life in times past. B,L

Day 11 : Return Home
Following an included breakfast, we fly home with wonderful memories of our adventure. CB
