Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center Alaska is one of Holiday Vacations’ favorite travel destinations and we are thrilled to promote awareness about conservation in Alaska with the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. A nonprofit dedicated to preserving Alaskan wildlife through education, the center cares for injured and orphaned animals in over 200 acres of habitat. Located just outside of Fairbanks, the center features animals including birds, bison, bears, caribou, elk, foxes, lynxes, moose, wolves, and much more. Several Holiday Vacations Alaska tours visit the center, where guests tour the facility and learn about their initiatives. In 2016 alone, over 1400 Holiday Vacations guests visited the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. Learn more about the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center here.
