Holiday Vacations Donates to the 27th Annual “Kids ‘N Cops” Program Holiday Vacations is pleased to support the Eau Claire County Sheriff’s Office’s 27th annual “Kids ‘N Cops” program. Each year, underprivileged children in Wisconsin’s Eau Claire County join up with local law enforcement officers for a fun-filled day together. Children meet at the nearby Target SuperCenter where an officer joins them to shop for clothes, winter apparel, and Christmas presents. Afterwards, the children and officers have a joyful lunch with Santa Claus and his elves. More than 100 children will be involved in the program this year. Holiday Vacations’ role in Kids ‘N Cops is to help raise the funds that go to the kid-sized shopping spree. On Monday Oct. 7, a portion of sales made at Altoona Family Restaurant, a popular family-friendly diner, went to the Kids ‘N Cops program. As we have done for many years, Holiday Vacations matched the restaurant’s donations. On Friday, Oct. 18, Eau Claire County Sheriff Ron Cramer visited the Holiday Vacations office to accept a check for the matched funds. Holiday Vacations is proud to support Eau Claire County and local law enforcers’ efforts to improve the lives of vulnerable children in our area. Thank you for all that you do!
