Traverse the epic waterfalls, explore, and go on a Niagara Cruise. Travel to Toronto, North America’s fourth largest city. Tour this extraordinary cosmopolitan center with free time for your own discoveries in its diverse neighborhoods. Enjoy a boat tour on Alexandria Bay and visit Boldt Castle. Journey to Ottawa, Canada’s capital, for a dose of history with a visit to Crownland and have a walking tour of the island city of Montreal. In 1881, Mark Twain nicknamed Montreal “the city of a hundred steeples,” a comment on its many beautiful churches. Located in the Saint Lawrence River, appreciate the island’s distinct boroughs such as the city center with its gorgeous Gothic Revival Notre-Dame Basilica, the bohemian Plateau, and the historic cobblestoned French colonial neighborhoods of Vieux-Montréal.

Day 1 : Travel to Canada
Begin with a pleasant flight to Buffalo, New York. From there, travel across the border to Niagara Falls, taking in unique beauty on the Canadian side of the grand waterfalls. We check-in to our hotel for a three-night stay and have the remainder of the day at leisure.
Day 2 : Niagara Falls
Embark on a guided tour of the Niagara Falls area, exploring its unique oasis of natural wonder and capturing a stunning sample of marvelous Ontario geography including the Whirlpool Rapids among other remarkable natural phenomena.
An included lunch follows, a warm welcome from Holiday Vacations as we mingle with new friends.
Journey behind the falls at White Water Park, taking an elevator down to get close-up views of the waterfall. Feel the power of the falls on the outdoor deck or get a different view from inside a portal.
Conclude the day with a serene stroll along the park boardwalk, enjoying the sights and sounds of white water rapids and the river. Dinner and the evening is at leisure.
Day 3 : Niagara Boat Tour
Today begins with a thrilling Niagara boat tour. Sail as close as possible to the powerful falls as we journey through the Niagara Great Gorge, and cruise past famous Bridal Veil Falls, American Falls and into the heart of Horseshoe Falls for an exhilarating experience.
After, enjoy the IMAX® Theatre presentation Niagara: Miracles, Myths and Magic presented on Canada’s largest movie screen! Witness famous moments in the history of Niagara Falls and learn about the daredevils who challenged the falls.
Lunch today is a treat in the revolving restaurant atop Skylon Tower, 775 feet above Niagara Falls! Enjoy delectable food and marvelous views.
There is free time this afternoon to explore more of the Niagara area, purchase any last souvenirs, or relax at the hotel. After dark, discover lights that make the falls glow with rich colors in gorgeous hues.

Day 4 : Scenic Queen Elizabeth Way
This morning, depart Niagara Falls and travel north towards Toronto, driving around the western tip of Lake Ontario along the scenic Queen Elizabeth Way. Halfway there, stop in Burlington to witness the lovely Royal Botanical Gardens. The largest botanical garden in all of Canada, we have time to stroll specially cultivated gardens that are certain to delight. After lunch, continue on to Toronto, the fourth largest city in North America.
Then, check-in to our Toronto accommodations with the evening at leisure. Your Tour Director will help identify good options for dinner in the city.
Day 5 : Cosmopolitan Toronto
Seize the day with a tour of the eclectic, animated metropolis that is Toronto. Comparable to New York City in size and diversity, the lively and distinctly Canadian cosmopolitan center delights and intrigues with its numerous and varied neighborhoods including Old Town, Main Square, a Garden District, the University of Toronto, Little Italy, Chinatown, Cabbagetown, Little Portugal, Liberty Village, Greektown, and The Beaches along with abundant parks and much more!

A highlight will be in the Entertainment District near Inner Harbour to ascend the CN Tower. Standing at nearly 2,000 feet, the concrete observation and communications tower held the world’s record for tallest free-standing structure until 2007.
Day 6 : Alexandria Bay
Today we cross back into the United States to New York State's Thousand Islands region for a tour of Boldt Castle, located on an island in the St. Lawrence River. This fortress of a mansion began as a frame cottage before its grand expansion by George Boldt in 1900 who oversaw the construction of what would be one of the biggest private homes in America in its day. The estate grew to include an enormous yacht house on Wellesley Island where the Boldt family enjoyed a separate summer house with golf, polo, and horseback riding.
We check-in to our Alexandria Bay accommodations for one night and savor an included dinner.
Day 7 : Uncle Sam Boat Tour
Begin the day with a delightful Uncle Sam Boat Tour. Marvel at deep green waters of the St. Lawrence River, gazing at passing pleasure boats from leisurely kayaks to high-performance powerboats skidding across the main channel. Get a glimpse of the water boundary line between the United States and Canada!
Our boat tour behind us, we stop for lunch and journey to Ottawa, the capital city of Canada.
Upon arrival, we stop at the Canadian War Museum to learn about Canada’s military history.
Our accommodations are in Ottawa for two nights.
Day 8 : Ottawa: Canada’s Capital
Witness Parliament Hill in Ottawa’s Crownland located downtown along the serene riverbanks. Originally the site of a military base, the gorgeous Gothic revival style edifice sits atop lush greenery with spires, miniature towers, and other evocative architecture that symbolize Canada’s national identity.
Have a pleasant included lunch in Ottawa before an evening at leisure to relax and find your own discoveries in Canada’s Capital.
Day 9 : The Island City of Montreal
Bid Ottawa goodbye this morning and travel towards Montreal with a detour at Sucrerie de la Montagne, a traditional sugar shack offering tours, entertainment, and handcrafted sweets. Tour the delightful shack and indulge in artisan fare during a special Holiday Vacations Farewell Lunch with new friends.
Before parting ways, our final tour destination is Montreal. Have a lovely walking tour of this charming island city that blends rich history with natural beauty and contemporary city life.

Day 10 : Fly Home
Fly home with sublime memories of our time in eastern Canada.
