Experience the best of Alaska’s wild beauty and iconic waterways. After touching down in Anchorage, travel along scenic Turnagain Arm to Whittier’s harbor. Board Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Jade® for seven nights of stunning scenery and Freestyle Dining indulgence. Witness the thunderous calving of Hubbard Glacier and enjoy four charming ports of call: wander through Icy Strait Point, a community rich in maritime heritage; explore the remote capital city of Juneau; dive into the gold rush era in Skagway with a ride on the famed White Pass & Yukon Route Railway; and soak up coastal charm in Ketchikan. Glide along the Inside Passage and take in a final stretch of views before gathering with fellow travelers for a Farewell Dinner ahead of our arrival in Vancouver. From there, we disembark and close out our journey in Seattle, carrying with us memories of Alaska’s dramatic coastline, enduring heritage, and natural grandeur.

Trip overview may vary by departure.

  • Day 1: Fly to Alaska
Upon arriving in Anchorage, Alaska’s largest city, we settle into our accommodations.
  • Day 2: Scenic Drive & Set Sail
Embark on one of the state’s most scenic drives along Turnagain Arm, where dramatic mountains rise above glistening waters. Reaching the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, revel in close encounters with bears, moose, bison, and other native species. Next, we continue to Whittier and travel through the longest highway tunnel in North America: Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel. Later, we board Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Jade® ship to discover several of Alaska’s most famous glaciers. After settling into life at sea, we enjoy a special Welcome Dinner aboard the ship as our Alaskan cruise adventure begins.

    Meals Included: Breakfast, Dinner

  • Day 3: Hubbard Glacier
Have your camera handy for one of the most awe-inspiring experiences today – cruising to the magnificent Hubbard Glacier in Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. Enjoy a private social hour with fellow Holiday Vacations guests as we glide through stunning icy waters, surrounded by towering peaks and rugged coastal scenery. Known as “The Galloping Glacier” for its rare advance, Hubbard is the longest tidewater glacier on the continent with an impressive length of 76 miles. Watch in wonder as massive chunks of ice calve and crash into the sea!

    Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

  • Day 4: Icy Strait Point
Today brings a call at Icy Strait Point, a remarkable destination owned and operated by the Huna Tlingit people, offering a meaningful connection to Alaska’s maritime traditions and living heritage. Step ashore into a place shaped by native stewardship and fishing culture, where interpretive exhibits, local artisan shops, and restored salmon cannery buildings share the story of life along this remote shoreline. You may choose to take a scenic walk along the waterfront, watch for humpback whales while kayaking, or indulge in regional specialties at a local restaurant. We return to the vessel this evening with time to unwind on the deck and take in the coastal views.

    Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

  • Day 5: Juneau
Today, we dock in Juneau, the only U.S. capital city that is inaccessible by road due to its remote setting between coastal mountains and the Gastineau Channel. Juneau Icefield sits above the city, and below ground, gold mining tunnels from the 1880s remain. There are plenty of optional excursions to choose from, including salmon fishing or an adventure to Mendenhall Glacier. You may also visit the Alaska State Museum, stroll through the historic downtown area, or take a ride on Mount Roberts Tramway!

    Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

  • Day 6: Skagway & Scenic Rail Journey
Our next port of call is Skagway, the primary gateway to the Klondike Gold Rush in the late 1890s. Enjoy an excursion aboard the iconic White Pass & Yukon Route Railway! Ride in a vintage railcar as you ascend 2,865-feet to summit of White Pass, passing waterfalls, deep valleys, and gorgeous viewpoints like Bridal Veil Falls and Dead Horse Gulch. Later, there’s time to independently explore the Skagway Museum, stop by the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park Visitor Center, or visit historic sites like the Red Onion Saloon, still echoing stories of gold rush legends.

    Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

  • Day 7: Ketchikan
This morning, we reach Ketchikan, famously coined the Salmon Capital of the World. Surrounded by the Tongass National Forest and steeped in Indigenous culture, it’s also home to the world’s largest collection of standing totem poles! Docking at Ward Cove, enjoy some time at leisure to explore the city at your own pace – choose an optional excursion or take the shuttle into downtown Ketchikan to pop into local shops, stroll along the historic Creek Street, and soak in the charm of Alaska’s colorful waterfront community.

    Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

  • Day 8: Inside Passage
Soak up a relaxing day of sailing through the Inside Passage, a protected route with unbeatable scenery. Enjoy vistas of soaring mountain ranges, dense forests, and coastal inlets as we glide through the calm, fjord-like waterway. This is the perfect day to become acquainted with our ship’s fabulous amenities. Delight your taste buds with a variety of culinary options, dance the night away in the Bliss Ultra Lounge, watch a show at the Stardust Theater, try your luck at the casino, pamper yourself with a spa treatment, or simply take in the peaceful views. We also gather for one more private social hour this afternoon before coming together for a memorable Farewell Dinner aboard the ship as we take in one last evening at sea surrounded by glacier-carved landscapes.

    Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

  • Day 9: Seattle
We disembark in Vancouver, British Columbia after breakfast and travel to Seattle. Sit back and marvel at the ever-changing landscape as our route traces the Pacific Northwest, crossing the international border and passing through communities defined by coastal commerce and maritime heritage. We break for a leisurely lunch in Bellingham before continuing south to Seattle. Upon reaching the city, we set off to our hotel for the night and spend the rest of the evening at leisure. You may choose to break into the local food culture at a nearby restaurant, take a stroll by the lake, or unwind at the hotel’s bar and lounge as our trip enters its final chapter.

    Meals Included: Breakfast

  • Day 10: Fly Home
We return home with treasured memories of our time in The Last Frontier.
