  • Day 1: Fly to British Columbia
    Upon arriving in Vancouver, we settle into our hotel and prepare for the journey ahead with a wonderful Welcome Dinner. Enjoy delicious food, refreshing drinks, and great conversation as we get to know our fellow travelers!

  • Day 2: Vancouver City Tour & All Aboard
    Our adventure begins with a guided tour of Vancouver, a scenic city surrounded by water on three sides and nestled along the Coast Mountain Range. Admire the charming cobblestone streets of historic Gastown, view modern architecture downtown, take in the sprawling urban oasis of Stanley Park, and learn about the iconic Canada Place building. This afternoon, we board Windstar Cruises' new Star Seeker. Making its grand debut this year, the all-suite yacht offers an upscale onboard experience with world-class dining, entertainment, and amenities.

  • Day 3: Seymour Narrows
    Today is the perfect opportunity to get acquainted with our luxurious ship! Find serenity with yoga, indulge in a spa service, attend a cooking demonstration, and more. Head up to the sun deck for panoramic views of rugged coastlines, dense forests, and snow-capped peaks as we make our way north. A highlight is our transit through Seymour Narrows, a dramatic waterway known for its powerful currents and stunning natural beauty. As evening falls, we gather for a cocktail party and mingle with fellow travelers.

  • Day 4: Ketchikan
    Our first port of call is Ketchikan, famously coined the Salmon Capital of the World. Surrounded by the Tongass National Forest and steeped in Indigenous culture, it’s also home to the world’s largest collection of standing totem poles! Spend the day exploring at your own pace – stroll along the historic Creek Street boardwalk, wander the scenic waterfront promenade, or use the provided $350 credit to book an optional excursion, such as a halibut fishing adventure.

  • Day 5: Misty Fjords National Monument
    Today, we’re immersed in Alaska’s raw beauty while cruising through one of the most scenic inlets of Misty Fjords National Monument, a pristine wilderness sculpted by glaciers over millions of years. As we enter Rudyerd Bay, marvel at the plunging waterfalls, lush rainforest, and granite cliffs towering dramatically over mirror-like waters. Watch closely for bald eagles soaring overhead, harbor seals resting on rocky shores, or even the occasional black bear foraging along the water’s edge.

  • Day 6: Wrangell
    This morning’s port of call is Wrangell, one of Alaska’s oldest towns. Off the typical cruise route, this less-crowded town offers an authentic, more peaceful experience with rich culture. It has been home to the Tlingit people for thousands of years! Explore the town on foot, visit Petroglyph Beach State Historic Park to view ancient rock carvings, or consider an optional excursion, such as a tour to discover the area’s extraordinary wildlife.

  • Day 7: Endicott Arm & Dawes Glacier
    Our day is spent on a scenic cruise through Endicott Arm, a deep fjord that branches off Holkam Bay and is part of the Tongass National Forest. About 20% of this natural wonder is covered in ice, creating an amazing landscape among the trees, waterfalls, snow-capped peaks, and reflecting water as we travel towards Dawes Glacier. Marvel at the vast beauty of this striking blue tidewater glacier and watch for the ice calving into the waters below.   • Day 8: Juneau
    Today, we visit Juneau, the only U.S. capital city that is inaccessible by road due to its remote setting between coastal mountains and the Gastineau Channel. The Juneau Icefield sits above the city, and below ground, gold mining tunnels from the 1880s remain. There are plenty of excursions to choose from, including a culinary walking tour, a thrilling whale-watching experience, or an adventure to Mendenhall Glacier. You may also visit the Alaska State Museum, stroll through the historic downtown area, or take a ride on the Mount Roberts Tramway.

  • Day 9: Icy Strait Point, Hoonah
    Experience wild Alaska in Icy Strait Point today, where wildlife outnumbers the human population. This is the state’s only privately owned port of call, allowing all tourism profits to support the town and Indigenous people that have called it home for thousands of years. You may choose to take a stroll to the Historic Museum and Cannery to shop for local crafts, learn about the Huna Tlingit culture, or indulge in fresh fish and chips.     Our port of call today is Sitka, a city rich in Tlingit, Russian, and early American settler history. Spend your day exploring the Alaska Raptor Center, strolling through the historic district, or relaxing at the beautiful Sitka National Historical Park. You may also find an optional excursion that piques your interest, such as salmon sportfishing, biking, or crafting your own Venetian glass cane.

  • Day 12: Kenai Fjords National Park
    Our day is filled with otherworldly scenery as we cruise through Kenai Fjords National Park, a stunning 1,000-square-mile park featuring one of the largest icefields in the United States. The impressive Harding Icefield is the source of at least 38 glaciers and spectacular fjords carved by the massive glaciers moving down the mountains! We cruise near the beautiful Aialik Glacier, where there’s another optional zodiac or kayak expedition.

  • Day 13: Anchorage
    This morning, we disembark in Seward and drive to Anchorage, Alaska's largest city. Nestled between the Chugach Mountains and Cook Inlet, it has no shortage of gorgeous scenery! Our first stop is a short drive to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center in Girdwood, where native wildlife like bears, bison, and moose roam. We take the scenic route, driving along Turnagain Arm with views of towering mountain peaks, dramatic cliffs, and the shimmering waters of Cook Inlet. After a delicious lunch, we take a guided tour of the Alaska Native Heritage Center and settle into our hotel before enjoying an evening at leisure.

    Today, we journey on the Alaska Railroad through striking landscapes, transitioning from the lush coastal rainforests and towering Chugach Mountains to the jagged peaks of the Alaska Range. With GoldStar Service aboard the Denali Star, enjoy gourmet meals, panoramic views from a glass-dome car, and access to an outdoor viewing platform – perfect for spotting moose and bears. Upon arrival, we check in to our Denali accommodations and have a relaxing evening.

  • Day 15: Denali National Park & Preserve
    Get ready to cross off a bucket list experience today as we venture into the unspoiled wilderness of Denali National Park, six million acres of rugged terrain and diverse ecosystems. Led by a naturalist guide, we keep an eye out for Alaska’s famed "Big Five" – bears, moose, caribou, Dall sheep, and wolves – while exploring this breathtaking landscape. If the skies are clear, we may even catch a glimpse of Mount Denali’s towering peak, the highest in North America! The afternoon is free to personalize your adventure with an optional excursion like a scenic flightseeing tour, a rafting adventure, or a visit to the Sled Dog Kennels.

  • Day 16: Fairbanks & Gold Mining
    Our day begins with a drive to Fairbanks, known as the "Golden Heart City" for its warm hospitality and rich gold rush history. Our first stop is the Museum of the North to explore immersive exhibits that showcase Alaska’s natural and cultural heritage. Later, we learn about the discovery of “black gold” at the famed Trans-Alaska Pipeline and visit Gold Daughters. Enjoy learning the craft of gold panning and perfecting your technique, then keep what you find! Afterwards, dive deeper into the Alaska Gold Rush at the Mining Museum while browsing hundreds of fascinating relics before returning to our hotel for a relaxing evening.

  • Day 17: Antique Autos & Farewell
    This morning is yours to explore Fairbanks at your own pace. Stroll along the Chena Riverwalk, shop for authentic souvenirs, or stop by the Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitors Center to learn about Interior Alaska’s history. In the afternoon, we visit the Fountainhead Antique Auto Museum, home to a remarkable collection of rare vintage automobiles and gold rush-era fashion. Later, we gather for a special Farewell Dinner and raise a glass to the unforgettable adventures we've shared. Afterwards, our overnight flight home awaits.
