Upon arriving in Manaus, the vibrant capital of Brazil's Amazonas state and gateway to the Amazon Rainforest, our local English-speaking guide warmly welcomes us. After checking in to our hotel, we get to know fellow travelers over a Welcome Dinner and look forward to the exciting experiences ahead.

Day 3: Meeting of Waters
Today, we explore the remarkable waterways and agricultural traditions of the Amazon. Our first stop is the Meeting of Waters, where the dark waters of the Rio Negro meet the pale, sandy-colored waters of the Amazon River and flow side by side for nearly four miles without mixing, creating a stunning natural phenomenon. We then savor a one-of-a-kind lunch at a floating restaurant on Lake Janauari, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the rainforest. Our afternoon is spent traveling deeper into the Amazon to visit family-owned farms while learning how local communities cultivate crops such as cucumbers, papaya, and manioc in this unique environment. Tonight, we return to our hotel for an evening at leisure.

Day 4: Amazon Farms & Flavors
This morning, we continue exploring the agricultural traditions of the Amazon with visits to local farms that showcase the region’s diverse crops and farming practices. At Decares Farm, discover the cultivation of oranges, acai, and coffee. After enjoying lunch, learn about orange and banana cultivation at Arnild Farm, where they also raise fish in controlled environments. After a fascinating day connecting with the people and the land, we return to our hotel in the late afternoon with the rest of the day to explore nearby shops and cafés or simply unwind.

Day 5: Fly to Foz do Iguacu
Today, we journey across Brazil with a flight from the Amazon to Foz do Iguacu. This vibrant city is home to the awe-inspiring Iguazu Falls and the fascinating Triple Frontier, where Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay meet. After checking in to our hotel, we gather for a group dinner.

Day 6: Iguazu Falls
Get ready to check off an incredible bucket list experience today! We’re off to explore the breathtaking beauty of Iguazu Falls from both the Brazilian and Argentinian sides. Spanning nearly two miles and made up of more than 270 individual cascades, this spectacular UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of the world's most impressive waterfall systems. Stroll panoramic walkways for views of the falls and surrounding rainforest, then enjoy lunch before crossing into Argentina to see the famous Devil's Throat, where water plunges into a horseshoe-shaped chasm. Later, we return to our hotel for an evening at leisure.

This morning, travel by motorcoach to Londrina, passing ever-changing landscapes that showcase the country's remarkable size and diversity. Along the way, we stop in Campo Mourao for a delicious lunch. Upon reaching one of Brazil's most productive agricultural regions, we settle into our hotel and gather for dinner.

Day 8: Agricultural Innovation
Today, we gain firsthand insight into the innovation that drives Brazil's agricultural success. We begin at Cooperativa Integrada Agroindustrial, one of the country's leading agricultural cooperatives. Go behind the scenes to learn how thousands of member farmers work together through a cooperative model that supports crop production, storage, processing, and marketing. After lunch, we continue to Rancho Selecao to discover how modern farming practices combine beef cattle breeding, dairy production, and fish farming to maximize efficiency and promote long-term sustainability. Returning to Londrina, the evening is free to explore the city and dine at one of the area's many restaurants and cafés.

Day 9: No-Till Farming & Soybean Research
Our morning begins by uncovering the advancements that helped transform Brazil into one of the world's leading agricultural producers. We visit Agripastos Farm, a historic property recognized as one of the birthplaces of no-till farming in Brazil. At its No-Till Farming Museum, we explore the pioneering techniques, original equipment, and stories behind this revolutionary approach to soil conservation and sustainable crop production. This afternoon, we tour Embrapa Soybean, the renowned research center whose groundbreaking work helped adapt soybeans to tropical climates. Upon returning to the hotel, enjoy a relaxing evening.

Day 10: Curitiba
We continue exploring Brazil’s agricultural wonders today. Our first stop is a pioneer farm that provides insight into the practices and expertise that contribute to successful agricultural operations. Afterwards, we continue to Curitiba, the capital of Parana state. Our hotel is in the lively Batel neighborhood, known for its restaurants, cafés, and shopping. The evening is at your leisure.

This morning, we visit the Port of Paranagua to witness how Brazil’s agricultural products make their way from local farms to markets around the world. Located along the naturally protected Paranagua Bay, it’s a vital gateway for the country’s agribusiness industry. This port handles millions of tons of farm products each year, including soybeans, corn, sugar, and fertilizers, with modern infrastructure that connects farming regions to global markets. Afterwards, we visit a seed facility to learn more about the important role quality seeds play in supporting successful crop production. Later, enjoy another evening to relax or visit nearby attractions, such as the Oscar Niemeyer Museum or the Botanical Garden.

Upon arriving, we check in to our five-star hotel along the world-famous Copacabana Beach and savor a wonderful dinner.

Day 13: Rio's Iconic Landmarks
Today, we explore the landmarks that define Rio de Janeiro. Begin with a ride aboard the iconic cable cars to the summit of Sugarloaf Mountain, where breathtaking views stretch across the city's golden beaches, lush mountains, and glistening coastline. We then travel through Tijuca National Park to the top of Corcovado Mountain, home to the world-famous Christ the Redeemer statue, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. While here, marvel at the panoramic beauty of Rio from above. Tonight, we gather for the Roxy Dinner Show and enjoy an exceptional Brazilian-inspired meal paired with performances celebrating the local music, dance, and traditions of Brazil's regions.

Day 14: City Tour & Carnival Experience
Our sightseeing of this world-famous city resumes with a guided tour of Praca XV de Novembro, Rio’s historic heart. Surrounded by centuries-old landmarks, we admire highlights including the Imperial Palace, the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, and the Church of the Third Order of Carmel. We also see the Teles Arch and Tiradentes Palace, each offering a glimpse into Brazil's journey to independence. After lunch at leisure, we discover the magic behind the captivating Carnival Experience – the country’s biggest celebration! Our visit to Academicos do Grande Rio, a samba school, unveils the artistry behind the elaborate floats, the history and rhythms of samba, and the grandeur of Carnival attire. There’s even an opportunity to transform yourself into a carioca reveler with authentic costumes as we toast with caipirinha, a traditional Brazilian cocktail. Later, we return to our hotel to freshen up before dinner together.

This afternoon, we stop at Barra Shopping, one of Latin America’s largest shopping malls, where there’s time for last-minute souvenirs or personal shopping. Tonight, we transfer to the airport for our overnight flight home, returning with unforgettable memories of Brazil’s landscapes, culture, and warm hospitality.
