Escape to defining cities and marvel at the most iconic natural wonders in Eastern Canada! Our adventure begins with a flight to New York, where we board our motorcoach for a drive across the border to Niagara Falls. Revel in experiencing the falls multiple ways with Niagara Parks’ Journey Behind the Falls and White Water Walk, lunch in Skylon Tower, a thrilling cruise through Niagara Gorge, and more. Head north to Niagara-on-the-Lake for free time before enjoying lunch with spectacular wine at Wayne Gretzky Estates. Travel along Queen Elizabeth Way to Toronto for a tour including the famous CN Tower, then relax on a 1000 Islands cruise down the St. Lawrence River. In Ottawa, explore Parliament Hill, then delight in an entertaining dinner show, Oh Canada Eh!? Our getaway concludes with a visit to an authentic sugar shack and time at leisure in Montreal, where French is the official language.

This vibrant city is often referred to as Canada’s cultural capital because of its incredible theater, music, dance, and food with a melting pot of over 200 ethnic groups. As one of North America’s largest cities, Toronto offers a stunning and expansive skyline that showcases a famous attraction, the soaring CN Tower. Marvel at the many distinct neighborhoods, such as historic Little Italy and the Garden District, which features a glass-domed plant conservatory.
Niagara Falls
Spanning the border of Ontario and New York State, this group of three waterfalls were formed at the end of the last Ice Age due to glacial-melt activity. They make up the largest falls in North America by volume and width! The water rushes at 25 miles per hour and can generate four million kilowatts of electricity, contributing significantly to the area’s hydroelectricity.
Heart of the Islands St. Lawrence River Cruise
Glide along the border between the United States and Canada in the scenic Thousand Islands area, once a hot spot for the wealthy during the Gilded Age with opulent mansions lining the riverbanks. Savor a lunch with panoramic views of the countless picturesque islands while our onboard guides share the region’s rich history, including stories of early explorers and the vital role the river played in shaping Canada’s heritage.
Canadian War Museum
Embark on a compelling journey through Canada’s wartime experiences with a diverse collection of artifacts, exhibits, and interactive displays. Browse exhibits that give insight into WWI, WWII, the Korean War, military technology, and more. From the powerful Vimy Ridge diorama, which commemorates the pivotal battle in World War I, to historic aircraft and the Gallery of Honour, there are many moving sights to enrich your visit.
- Day 1: Canada BoundWe fly into Buffalo, New York, then travel across the border to Niagara Falls, admiring the beauty of the famous waterfalls. After checking in to our hotel, the remainder of the evening is at your leisure with many attractions conveniently nearby.
- Day 2: Niagara FallsThis morning, a local guide joins us for a city tour of the area’s most famous attractions, like the Whirlpool Rapids, Welland Canal, and the unique Floral Clock along Niagara Parkway. We conclude at Table Rock House Restaurant, where we get to know fellow travelers over a Welcome Lunch. Next, revel in experiencing the power of the falls at Niagara Parks’ Journey Behind the Falls! Elevators descend us over 100 feet to the base of Horseshoe Falls, then we walk through storied tunnels while feeling the vibrations of the thundering cascades. Complimentary plastic raincoats are provided as we step onto the viewing platform, getting us close to this awe-inspiring natural wonder. Later, we stroll along the boardwalk and see the Niagara River’s rushing rapids on the White Water Walk.

- Day 3: Niagara Boat TourToday, we experience the thrill of getting as close as possible to the falls on a Hornblower Niagara Cruises™ tour through the Niagara Gorge. Take in views of the American and Bridal Veil Falls, then make sure your complimentary plastic raincoat is on as we cruise right into the turbulent waters near Canadian Horseshoe Falls and feel its mist. Next, witness iconic moments in history on the big screen at Niagara Adventure Theater before soaring 775 feet above the falls to Skylon Tower’s revolving restaurant for a delicious lunch with spectacular views. The rest of the day is free to explore as you wish! This is a great time to visit nearby attractions or find your adventurous side with an optional excursion, like ziplining or flightseeing. After dark, we venture back out as a group to marvel at the colorful illumination of the falls.

- Day 4: Niagara-on-the-LakeWe depart this morning for Niagara-on-the-Lake, a charming town on the shores of Lake Ontario that’s famously known for its wineries. After time to explore independently, enjoy tasting some of the region’s best wines during our three-course lunch at Wayne Gretzky Estates, a winery owned by the former professional ice hockey player known as “the Great One.” Afterwards, we drive along scenic Queen Elizabeth Way to Toronto, our home for the next two evenings.

- Day 5: TorontoOur day begins with a local guide joining us for a tour of Toronto, Canada’s largest city. Comparable to New York City in size and diversity, the lively cosmopolitan center boasts varied neighborhoods including Old Town, the Main Square, Garden District, Little Italy, and more. Following an included lunch, we visit the Entertainment District near Inner Harbour to ascend Toronto’s most iconic landmark, the CN Tower. Spend the rest of the day soaking up relaxation at the hotel or exploring on your own.

- Day 6: 1000 IslandsThis morning, our travels take us to Kingston, nestled on Lake Ontario. We enjoy a Heart of the Islands cruise on the St. Lawrence River to discover the beauty of the 1000 islands with live musical entertainment and expert commentary. Indulge in an included lunch with views of Napoleon’s Hat, Wanderer’s Channel, Mandalay Mansion, and more. Later, we check in to our hotel and have an evening at leisure.

- Day 7: Parliament HillToday, we depart for the capital city of Ottawa and enjoy lunch on our own at Queen St. Fare, the city’s first food hall. Afterwards, we visit Parliament Hill in Ottawa’s Crown land along the serene riverbank. Originally a military base, the beautiful Gothic-revival buildings sit on lush greenery, complete with spires and miniature towers that symbolize Canada’s national identity. We then check in to our local accommodations for the next two nights.
- Day 8: OttawaOur first stop today is the Canadian War Museum to browse artifacts, photographs, and personal accounts of how conflict in Canada has impacted the world. Next, we have lunch together before an afternoon free to pursue individual interests. Tonight, we’re guests at Canada’s longest-running dinner musical: Oh Canada Eh!? Savor a five-course meal while enjoying this high-energy comedic show.

- Day 9: MontrealWe travel towards Montreal this morning with a detour at Sucrerie de la Montagne in Rigaud. Tour the authentic sugar shack and indulge in traditional flavors during a special Farewell Lunch as we celebrate our Canadian adventures. After arriving in Montreal, we have some time in Old Montreal to wander the charismatic cobbled streets and shop for souvenirs before checking in to our hotel, where you can continue time at leisure.
