Discover the rich traditions, artistry, and enduring spirit of the Mi’kmaq people who are Indigenous to Canada’s Maritime provinces. Continuing towards Cape Breton Island, we stop for lunch at leisure before arriving in the storybook town of Antigonish, known for its strong Scottish heritage. Enjoy time to explore its welcoming downtown area with charming local boutiques, cafés, and quaint tree-lined streets. Later, we arrive in the lakeside village of Baddeck, a picturesque gem on the shores of Bras d’Or Lake and once the summer home of inventor Alexander Graham Bell. After settling into our cozy retreat, we gather for a delicious dinner.

- Day 4: The Cabot TrailOur first stop today is Les Trois Pignons Cultural Centre, Museum, and Gallery to learn about the area's Acadian history and witness their time-honored tradition of rug hooking. Our journey takes us through Cape Breton Highlands National Park, where unspoiled natural beauty sets the stage for dramatic landscapes and incredible coastal vistas. Upon returning to our hotel, we savor another wonderful dinner together.

- Day 5: Cape Breton IslandThis morning, we step into the inventive world of Baddeck’s most famous resident at the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site. Browse fascinating exhibits and artifacts highlighting Bell’s groundbreaking achievements, from the telephone to early experiments in flight. After an included lunch, our scenic journey continues with a drive across the iconic Canso Causeway and a ferry ride to Wood Islands on Price Edward Island. Then, watch for sweeping ocean views as we travel over the Confederation Bridge to Charlottetown, where our accommodations for the next two nights await.

- Day 8: Montmorency FallsWe disembark in Quebec City, set along the St. Lawrence River, and begin our day with a visit to the towering Montmorency Falls. At 272 feet, they are almost 100 feet taller than Niagara Falls! An aerial tram takes us to the top, where we have the option to find our adventurous side and cross a suspension bridge over the falls or simply soak up the scenery. After lunch at historic Manoir Montmorency, we are off to the Albert Gilles Copper Art Studio and Museum for a tour of the family-owned art studio. Learn about the history of this craft, marvel at intricate exhibits, watch a demonstration, and get creative while making your own copper artwork to take home. Next, we visit the Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupre Shrine, one of Canada’s national shrines and a popular pilgrimage site dedicated to the grandmother of Jesus. Later, we check in to our accommodations and enjoy a relaxing evening.

This evening, we celebrate our unforgettable adventure with a special Farewell Dinner.
