Activity Level:
Moderate
Highest Elevation:
7,102 feet in Albuquerque

Celebrate the 100th anniversary of Historic Route 66 with a quintessential American road trip experience through five states: Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and Nevada! During the journey, enjoy vintage towns with classic diners, wide-open landscapes, and can’t-miss roadside attractions that bring Route 66’s golden era back to life. We’ll also keep the drives fun with Route 66-themed entertainment, such as games and music! Begin in Oklahoma City with a guided tour, a scenic Bricktown canal cruise, and a visit to the renowned National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum. Head west on the Mother Road to explore the expansive Elk City Museum Complex and stay overnight in Amarillo. Back on the road, we admire the vibrant car art at Cadillac Ranch, soak in the glow of Tucumcari’s neon signs, and enjoy free time in Albuquerque. Continuing to Gallup, uncover the history of Navajo Code Talkers and Native Americans before marveling at the natural beauty in Petrified Forest National Park. Next, take advantage of free time in Flagstaff and browse the retro memorabilia found in downtown Williams. Trading our motorcoach for a vintage rail car, we board the Grand Canyon Railway for stunning views on a journey to the canyon's South Rim, where there's time to stroll through the Historic Village District. Step back in time at the birthplace of Historic Route 66 – Seligman – and experience the artsy, cowboy soul of Kingman. Our adventure concludes with a guided tour of the mighty Hoover Dam and time to soak up the lively atmosphere of Las Vegas.
