Visit Glengowla, a traditional Connemara farm that has raised sheep for generations. Watch as skilled sheepdogs respond to the farmer’s calls, learn what each command means, meet some friendly sheep, and greet Jess, the sheepdog. Next, we see a turf-cutting demonstration at the peat bog to learn the centuries-old tradition of “saving the turf” using a special spade called a slean.
