Explore Henry’s opulent State Apartments, tour the vast Tudor Kitchens, and feel the eerie chill of the Haunted Gallery before strolling the gorgeous gardens. Tonight, we settle into our central London accommodations and get to know fellow travelers during a Welcome Dinner.

- Day 3: Shakespeare's GlobeToday, we travel to the south bank of the River Thames to visit Shakespeare’s Globe, a faithful reconstruction of the Elizabethan playhouse best known for hosting William Shakespeare’s influential plays. Enjoy exploring the theater grounds and exhibitions, then see an Elizabethan costume demonstration. This afternoon, we savor a pub lunch before pursuing personal interests for the remainder of the day.

- Day 4: London City TourAfter an included English breakfast, we explore this iconic city with our expert local guide. View the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, the Prime Minister’s Office on Downing Street, Piccadilly Circus, and Buckingham Palace. We also visit the Tower of London to learn about its legendary past, see Britain’s Crown Jewels, browse the Royal Armories collection, and much more. Our discoveries continue on a relaxing cruise along the River Thames with unique viewpoints. We conclude the day with a quintessential English experience: a full afternoon tea, complete with finger sandwiches, expertly brewed tea, freshly baked pastries, and scones with jam.

- Day 5: Bletchley Park & OxfordToday, we travel northwest of London to tour Bletchley Park, where Alan Turing and many others secretly worked to unlock the German Enigma machine during World War II. Learn about this integral part of history while exploring the visitor center’s intricate exhibits and the Codebreaking Huts. Afterwards, our journey continues to Oxford, known as the City of Dreaming Spires. Enjoy a walking tour with our Blue Badge Guide and visit Christ Church College, famous for its blend of stunning architectural styles. Tonight, we check in to our local accommodations and have dinner together.

- Day 6: Blenheim Palace & BathThis morning, we head to Woodstock and visit the ancestral home of Sir Winston Churchill: Blenheim Palace. It remains the principal residence for the Dukes of Marlborough and is the only non-royal country house to hold the title of palace. Stroll through the lavish State Rooms adorned with priceless art and admire manicured gardens designed by Capability Brown. This afternoon, we drive to Bath for a guided walking tour that includes the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Roman Baths before checking in to our comfortable accommodations.

- Day 7: Greenway HouseWe depart for Dartmouth today and board a ferry to Greenway, the vacation home of worldwide best-selling mystery author Agatha Christie, located on a hill overlooking the River Dart. Filled with treasures Agatha collected from her travels around the world, the home still reflects how it looked when she spent her summers there. Later, we settle into our accommodations for the next two nights in Plymouth.

- Day 8: Port Isaac & TintagelOur destination today is the 700-year-old picturesque fishing village of Port Isaac in Cornwall. On our guided walking tour, we see whitewashed cottages line the winding streets and hear how locals survived centuries ago on the rugged cliffs with little protection from the Atlantic’s unpredictable tides. We also hear about its significant smuggling history, with tales of shipwrecks and pirates plundering goods under the cover of darkness. After an authentic Cornish pasty lunch, you may enjoy time at leisure in nearby Tintagel or visit the Tintagel Castle ruins, steeped in the legend of King Arthur with magnificent views of the Cornish Coast. Tonight, we have a one-of-a-kind dining experience with stories of smugglers and hidden treasures at Jamaica Inn, Cornwall’s most famous smuggling inn.

- Day 9: StonehengeAfter a leisurely breakfast, we travel to the Salisbury Plain for a tour of its fascinating landmark: Stonehenge. One of the most recognized prehistoric monuments in the world, few places have generated more speculation than this mysterious circle of standing stones. We spend the afternoon learning about this iconic site and its many myths, then venture east to our Windsor hotel.

- Day 10: Windsor CastleOur last day begins with a visit to Windsor Castle, the final resting place of her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and the oldest and largest continuously occupied castle in the world. Prominently situated on 26 acres high above the River Thames, the castle features magnificent State Apartments, St. George’s Chapel, and Queen Mary’s Doll House. The rest of the afternoon is yours for individual exploration. Tonight, we celebrate our adventures on the Sceptered Isle with a Farewell Dinner.
