Next, savor a special lunch at Fridheimar farm before seeing how tomatoes are grown in their greenhouses year-round and learning about the fascinating gaits of Icelandic horses. Afterwards, we experience the power of Gullfoss Waterfall as glacial water thunders down a rugged canyon and stroll through the Geysir Hot Springs area, packed with bubbling mud pits and explosive geysers including Strokkur, which spouts water 100 feet into the air like clockwork. Our taste buds are then treated to regional delights at Efstidalur II farm while we hear about Iceland’s important dairy history, followed by a visit to Hveragerdi, the Hot Springs Capital of the World.
