Highlights
Two Distinct Cultures On One Tour
Though both part of the United Kingdom, Scotland and Northern Ireland have distinct cultural differences, including traditional food and two separate versions of Gaelic, their historic language. Their music styles may be similar, but they have their own style of bagpipes! Have fun listening to the unique characteristics of each and discover what sets them apart as we visit these fascinating countries
Agricultural Splendor of the Emerald Isle
Visit Glenshane Country Sheep Farm and watch how, with a whistle, a whisper, or a gesture, a sheep header can direct his highly trained working dogs to herd a flock of sheep in this epic Irish landscape located at the foothills of the Sperrin mountains.
Inveraray Castle
Nestled within the beautiful countryside near Loch Fyne, this stunning estate has been the residence of the Dukes of Argyll since 1789 and is the current family home of The Duke & Duchess of Argyll. Enjoy a guided tour of 13 rooms spanning three levels, including the memorable Armoury Hall, the ornate grand State Dining Room, Parisian-style Tapestry Drawing Room, and Old Kitchen. In the North West Hall, we can also see the Duke’s Coronation robes, coronet, and baton he still uses today for ceremonial occasions.
Loch Lomond Cruise & Southern Highlands
Relax on a breathtaking cruise through this pristine freshwater loch, spanning the geological fault line that naturally splits the sprawling Lowlands and the craggy Highland mountains. Listen to fascinating tales of the Highlands, steeped in clans with deep loyalties, and gaze upon the agricultural splendor of the Lowlands. We also enjoy views of Arklet Falls, Arrochar Alps, charming old villages, and wildlife.
Edinburgh
Discover Scotland’s charismatic capital! Visit historic Edinburgh Castle to walk the Half Moon Battery, admire the ancient Honours of Scotland, and more. Then, explore medieval Old Town, known for its cobblestone streets and Royal Mile, before venturing into UNESCO World Heritage-listed Georgian New Town. Our last stop is the Royal Yacht Britannia, a floating palace that has been part of royal events around the world for decades.
