Polynesian Cultural Center
Explore the diverse cultures of the Pacific Island nations, including Hawaii, Fiji, Samoa, Tonga, Tahiti, and Aotearoa (New Zealand). Visit six authentic village replicas, each representing a Polynesian island, and revel in hands-on activities as cultural ambassadors showcase traditional dance, music, and crafts. From seeing a young Samoan warrior climb a 40-foot coconut tree to witnessing the Māori warrior dance, this immersive encounter provides fascinating insight into the heritage of Polynesia.
Hawaii Volcanoes National Park
Named an International Biosphere Reserve and UNESCO World Heritage Site for its extraordinary natural diversity, this protected landscape encompasses six climate zones! From lava fields and craters to deserts and lush rainforest along rugged coastline, there’s no shortage of natural wonders. It’s also home to one of Earth’s most active volcanoes, Kilauea. We may even get a chance to walk through a 500-year-old lava cave, Thurston Lava Tube!
Pearl Harbor National Memorial feat. USS Arizona Memorial
Learn about a pivotal moment in United States history and pay respects to the thousands who lost their lives during the attack on Pearl Harbor. The USS Arizona Memorial is above the remains of the original ship, where at least 900 crew members lay to rest. Watch closely as the tanks leaking deep below bring oil droplets to the surface, known as the “black tears of the Arizona.” *Tickets to the USS Arizona Memorial are subject to availability through the NPS.
Guest photo.- Day 1: Fly to OahuE komo mai (Welcome) to the lush paradise of Honolulu, where the aloha spirit is ever present. After a traditional flower lei greeting, we head to our luxurious resort, located near the beautiful white sands of Waikiki Beach.
- Day 2: Pearl Harbor & City TourOur exploration begins with a city tour of Honolulu, including the island’s most moving site: Pearl Harbor National Memorial. We browse exhibits detailing the fateful events of December 7, 1941, watch a documentary, and take a Navy-operated boat ride to the USS Arizona Memorial* for a chance to observe the sunken battleship and pay our respects. This afternoon, get to know fellow travelers during a Welcome Lunch before continuing our tour with a drive past the volcanic-shaped Hawaii State Capitol building, Iolani Palace, and Punchbowl Crater, an extinct volcano that’s home to the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. We also take in spectacular coastal scenery at Halona Blowhole, Eternity Beach, and Nu’uanu Pali Lookout! *Navy launch to the USS Arizona Memorial is subject to weather and availability through the National Park Service. Tickets are confirmed the day prior.

- Day 3: Leisure Day on OahuToday is yours for individual pursuits on the “Gathering Place” island! Walk along famous Waikiki Beach, delight your taste buds with a food tour, explore the ocean on a snorkeling excursion, or hike to Diamond Head. After working up an appetite, an included dinner awaits at the resort.

- Day 4: Polynesian Cultural CenterThis morning, enjoy a scenic drive along Oahu’s North Shore and a brief stop at Dole Pineapple Visitor Center, where you may choose to purchase their famous Dole Whip. After an included lunch, we visit the Polynesian Cultural Center, an immersive outdoor living museum that showcases the ancient cultures of six Pacific Island nations. The evening is at your leisure.

- Day 5: Hawaii Volcanoes National ParkWe fly to Hilo on the Big Island today. After a delicious lunch outside of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, we venture into this protected volcanic landscape and stop at the visitor center to learn more about its fascinating natural wonders. Our driving tour winds through dramatic terrain, with stops to view craters, dried lava fields, and steam vents up close. Later, we journey to Kona and settle into our accommodations.

- Day 6: Leisure Day on The Big IslandRelax and savor breakfast at the resort this morning before exploring the Big Island on your own. Take a stroll through historic Kailua-Kona Village, visit Moku’aikaua Church, swim with manta rays, or embark on a flightseeing excursion!

- Day 7: Waimea CanyonOur day kicks off with a flight to the lush island of Kauai, known as the Garden Isle. After lunch, we treat our taste buds to coffee samples from Kauai Coffee Company, the country’s largest coffee grower. Our exploration continues at Waimea Canyon, nicknamed The Grand Canyon of the Pacific, with unbeatable views of its striking red rock and emerald-green vegetation spanning the vast gorge. Later, we check in to our accommodations in Kapa’a.

- Day 8: Leisure Day on KauaiIndulge in a delicious breakfast, then enjoy a full day at leisure in the second-wettest place on Earth. You may choose to visit a botanical garden, take a boat ride to Smith’s Fern Grotto, relax by the pool, or simply enjoy the breathtaking scenery and soothing breeze. This evening, we gather for dinner at the resort.

- Day 9: Maui Ocean CenterThis morning, we take a final interisland flight to Maui, the beautiful Valley Isle. Our afternoon is spent at Maui Ocean Center, where we have a wonderful lunch and get an up-close look at local marine life. We also enjoy the immersive 3D Humpbacks of Hawaii experience, showcasing some of the ocean’s most remarkable visitors! Later, our award-winning accommodations await with a relaxing evening.

- Day 10: Leisure Day on MauiWake up well-rested at our oceanfront resort, situated along a three-mile stretch of world-renowned Ka’anapali Beach. The day is yours to soak up the sun, play a round on a championship golf course, go snorkeling, travel the winding Road to Hana, or watch the sunset on a dinner cruise.

- Day 11: Traditional LuauToday is yours to spend as you wish! Take advantage of a leisurely morning or wake up early to independently watch the sunrise from the summit of Haleakala, “House of the Sun.” Our resort is conveniently located near Whalers Village, where you can visit shops, grab a bite to eat, or listen to live entertainment throughout the day. Tonight, we say farewell Hawaiian-style at “Drums of the Pacific” Luau. Indulge in tropical drinks and the unique flavors of Native cuisine, then witness traditional music, dancing, and chants from islands across the South Pacific, plus a thrilling fire-knife finale!

- Day 12: Farewell HawaiiEnjoy one last morning at leisure in this tropical paradise. Later, we learn about the island's iconic fruits and plants on a narrated tram tour at Maui Tropical Plantation. We also gather for a fantastic Farewell Meal to celebrate our adventure before boarding our overnight flight back to the mainland.
