Discover Hawaii’s vibrant capital city on a guided tour featuring several historical landmarks, such as Pearl Harbor National Memorial, National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl Crater, King Kamehameha statue, and Iolani Palace, America’s only royal residence. We also admire the island’s stunning natural wonders, including Halona Beach Cove, a famous filming location.
“Drums of the Pacfic” Luau
Experience Hawaii’s Native culture, beginning with an authentic imu ceremony to reveal our savory cuisine cooked in an underground oven. Then, marvel as talented dancers clothed in traditional dress entertain us with the chants, songs, and dances of the South Pacific. Our evening concludes with a captivating Samoan fire-knife finale!

Named an International Biosphere Reserve and UNESCO World Heritage Site for its extraordinary natural diversity, this protected landscape encompasses six climate zones! From lava fields and craters to deserts and lush rainforest along rugged coastline, there’s no shortage of natural wonders. It’s also home to one of Earth’s most active volcanoes, Kilauea. We may even get a chance to walk through a 500-year-old lava cave, Thurston Lava Tube!
Pearl Harbor National Memorial feat. USS Arizona Memorial
Learn about a pivotal moment in United States history and pay respects to the thousands who lost their lives during the attack on Pearl Harbor. The USS Arizona Memorial is above the remains of the original ship, where at least 900 crew members lay to rest. Watch closely as the tanks leaking deep below bring oil droplets to the surface, known as the “black tears of the Arizona.” *Tickets to the USS Arizona Memorial are subject to availability through the NPS.

Explore the lush Waikapu Valley filled with vibrant flowers, swaying palms, and rows of exotic crops. We take a relaxing tram ride through the grounds as a guide shares insights about Hawaii’s agricultural history and local plants, such as sugarcane and pineapples. A highlight of our visit is the fascinating coconut husking demonstration!

- Day 2: Pearl Harbor & City TourOur exploration begins with a city tour of Honolulu, including the island’s most moving site: Pearl Harbor National Memorial. We browse exhibits detailing the fateful events of December 7, 1941, watch a documentary, and take a Navy-operated boat ride to the USS Arizona Memorial* for a chance to observe the sunken battleship and pay our respects. This afternoon, get to know fellow travelers during a Welcome Lunch before continuing our tour with a drive past the volcanic-shaped Hawaii State Capitol building, Iolani Palace, and Punchbowl Crater, an extinct volcano that’s home to the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. We also take in spectacular coastal scenery at Halona Blowhole, Eternity Beach, and Nu’uanu Pali Lookout! *Navy launch to the USS Arizona Memorial is subject to weather and availability through the National Park Service. Tickets are confirmed the day prior.

- Day 3: Leisure Day on OahuToday is yours to explore the island of Oahu, known as the Gathering Place. Relax on heavenly Waikiki Beach, go for a hike to Diamond Head, sample local Hawaiian fare on a food tour, snorkel among colorful fish, return to Pearl Harbor to tour the USS Missouri Memorial, or explore the depths of the ocean on a submarine adventure. This evening, enjoy an included dinner at the resort.

- Day 4: Hawaii Volcanoes National ParkThis morning, we fly to Hilo on the Big Island. After a delicious lunch outside of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, we venture into this protected volcanic landscape and stop at the visitor center to learn more about its fascinating natural wonders. Our driving tour winds through dramatic terrain, with stops to view craters, dried lava fields, and steam vents up close. Later, we journey to Kona and settle into our accommodations.

- Day 5: Leisure Day on The Big IslandEnjoy breakfast at the resort before an exciting day of exploring the Big Island on your own. Tour a chocolate farm or Kona Brewery, swim with manta rays, go flightseeing for aerial views of the volcanoes, shop in historic Kailua-Kona Village, or simply relax on your private lanai.

- Day 6: Maui Ocean CenterThis morning, we board a last interisland flight to Maui, nicknamed the Valley Isle for the valleys carved into its mountains. Our afternoon is spent at Maui Ocean Center, where we have a wonderful lunch and get an up-close look at local marine life. We also enjoy the immersive 3D Humpbacks of Hawaii experience, showcasing some of the ocean’s most remarkable visitors! Later, our award-winning accommodations await with a relaxing evening.

- Day 7: Leisure Day on MauiEnjoy a relaxing morning with breakfast before venturing out on your own to discover all that Maui has to offer. Some wonderful options are touring a working pineapple or chocolate farm, watching the sunset on a dinner cruise, or traveling the winding Road to Hana.

- Day 8: Traditional LuauToday is yours to spend as you wish! Take advantage of a leisurely morning or wake up early to independently watch the sunrise from the summit of Haleakala, “House of the Sun.” Our resort is conveniently located near Whalers Village, where you can visit shops, grab a bite to eat, or listen to live entertainment throughout the day. Tonight, we say farewell Hawaiian-style at “Drums of the Pacific” Luau. Indulge in tropical drinks and the unique flavors of Native cuisine, then witness traditional music, dancing, and chants from islands across the South Pacific, plus a thrilling fire-knife finale!

- Day 9: Farewell HawaiiEnjoy one last morning at leisure in this tropical paradise. Later, we learn about the island's iconic fruits and plants on a narrated tram tour at Maui Tropical Plantation. We also gather for a fantastic Farewell Meal to celebrate our adventure before boarding our overnight flight back to the mainland.
